INTERNATIONAL BLACK SEA ACTION DAY 31ST OCTOBER 2018
31st of October marks the International Black Sea Action Day. Since the first Strategic Action Plan for the Rehabilitation and Protection of the Black Sea signed by six riparian countries on 31st October 1996 in Istanbul, this important event has been commemorated every year all around the Black Sea Basin.
The document outlined the frame for the joint efforts of the Black Sea coastal countries on the status and the future of our unique sea basin. The Black Sea Commission is the regional body designed to implement the Bucharest Convention signed by the six coastal countries in 1992.
ACTION IS REQUIRED FROM ALL STAKEHOLDERS AND FROM EACH PERSON IN THE BLACK SEA BASIN
