ICBSS - BSEC - DG MARE online Workshop, 16 June 2020
CCMS Director Dr Margarita Stancheva took participation at ICBSS - BSEC - DG MARE online Workshop on “How has the Covid-19 pandemic affected Blue Economy in the Black Sea region? Potential response actions” on Tuesday 16 June 2020. The Workshop was organized by the International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS), the Organization for the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) and the EU Commission's Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE), in cooperation with the Bulgarian Coordination of the Common Maritime Agenda.

INTEGRATING ECOSYSTEM-BASED APPROACH IN MARINE SPATIAL PLANNING: 6 MAY 2020 - MSPglobal online seminar
CCMS experts participated at the sixth MSPglobal online seminar – the first in English – organised on 6 May 2020, with a theme “How to ensure Ecosystem-Based Approach (EBA) principles in the context of Marine Spatial Planning (MSP)”. More than 300 participants joined the online seminar from over 45 different countries and had the opportunity to hear the perspective of five different speakers all across the world:

CCMS Director Dr Margarita Stancheva took participation at BSEC - ICBSS WEBINAR, conducted on 19 May, 2020 and organized by the International Center for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS), together with Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) in an online discussion about regional cooperation and coordination during the Covid-19 outbreak and the role of international organizations in the challenging post - pandemic era, focusing on the Black Sea Region.

MARSPLAN-BS II TRAFFIC SEPARATION SCHEME WORKSHOP
CCMS MARSPLAN-BS II Project team took participation at the First Thematic Workshop of the MARSPLAN-BS II Project, held on 12 December 2019 in Varna Bulgaria and organized by one of the Bulgarian partners in the project - Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy at their conference hall. The workshop was focused on the traffic separation scheme for Bulgaria and brought together the MARSPLAN-BS II partnership from Bulgaria and Romania, as well as a wide range of representatives of academy, research community, decision-makers, maritime and basin administrations, and other stakeholders.
